The bouncy, poppy vibes radiating from Ollie Wride’s ‘Overcome’ make his debut album Thanks In Advance a very exciting prospect. Combining thick layers of synths, artificial percussion and edited guitar sounds, Wride crafts a pleasing texture within the opening moments of the track. When his voice enters, a distinct Hoosiers vibe is introduced, proving an uncanny ability to carve addictively catchy melodies over a meticulously arranged accompaniment.
